Hello! My name is Margaret Avancena. I'm a designer based in sunny Southern California. ☀️

I was born in California, raised in Manila, Philippines. Having the opportunity to live in two very different countries, it gave me a unique perspective when it comes to design. I've been in a position where resources aren't readily available and doing simple tasks can take up so much of your time. The daily frustration I experienced while living in the Philippines taught me to be more efficient in everything I do. Since then, I always try to incorporate productivity and organization in all aspects of my life. Effortless and functional are my guiding principles when designing.

In my free time, I love to express my creativity in various mediums such as typography, illustration, embroidery, and crocheting. I also love to experiment with drinks! I'm an at-home barista and bartender. I also enjoy playing games, especially MOBAs.
